Culinary Design of ChoDang

Soft Tofu & BBQ

Soft Tofu & BBQ are Korea’s favorite signature dishes. Soft tofu is a delicate, silky form of tofu with high water content, making it smooth and custard-like in texture. It’s commonly used in soups, stews, and desserts, as well as eaten cold with simple toppings. BBQ is a popular dining style in Korean cuisine where diners grill meat, usually at the table, and enjoy it with various side dishes.

Went here with a 7 person group yesterday for Christmas Eve dinner with friends. Of course we called first to determine holiday hours. They confirmed they closed at 10PM and we arrive around 8:50PM. The hostess was very accommodating and very attentive. Made sure we had everything we needed and even told us to enjoy our food, relax without worrying about the time. She was a gem! I ordered T14, tofu and mushrooms. A friend ordered the short ribs. Buddy said not a lot of Korean restaurants do short ribs like this so it's unique to this particular restaurant. Complimentary side dishes and rice. Everything was delicious. We will be coming back here after our group movie nights !

We went for dinner the other night. There is a ton of parking available. They are also up until 2am. The interior is simple and felt like home. We ordered a soju and a Korean rice wine. Both were delicious and got us ready for food. The bachan was plentiful and delicious. I love kimchi and it was so crisp and flavorful. To start we got the seafood pancake which is large and more than enough for my friend and I'm we took some home with us. It was crisp and the seafood was delicious. Next we had a bulgolgi bibimbap. Another portion and was quite filling and flavorful. We ended with an army stew. It said it was 2 servings but we could have fed 4 people. Spicy, hot, and absolutely filling. Service was super helpful and friendly. Would totally recommend and come back to.

Looking for a Korean place to eat and found this place and it was good! We ordered Kimchi soup with beef, Galbi combo with soup 🍲 and they gave us plenty of side dishes to go with our meal. We were happy with our orders. Service was ok and the parking was a bit small and crowded.

We went almost at the closing time, and even tho they let us eat inside, the service was friendly and efficient, I saw many reviews about that the service was different if you are not asian, but as a mexican guy I can tell it was not the case, Good service and delicious food. I am coming again!!!🥰🥰
